SWAN GAMES COMPANY RELEASES INTERNET BRIDGE PLATFORM FOR NATIONAL BRIDGE ORGANIZATIONS
WHITEHALL, PA -
October 25th, 2002 - SWAN Games Company (www.swangames.com) announces the release of an Internet Bridge Platform - named BridgeLynx - which can be used by National Bridge Organizations to provide free internet based
bridge services for their members.
The BridgeLynx Internet Platform has already been successfully used by a number of federations. Most notably, the Danish Bridge Federation (www.bridge.dk), launched an
internet bridge club complete with daily masterpoint tournaments run by their own directors and a Danish language version of SWAN's client software.
SWAN provides free training for federation directors to
run their own free events such as tournaments, lectures, and national team practice. Bridge school and teaching features are scheduled for release in January 2003.
The BridgeLynx Internet Platform also
features an online ticketing system, so that federations can choose to offer certain events on a pay-per-play basis. Additionally, SWAN Games provides a revenue sharing program where NBO's receive 25% of
the discounted SWAN memberships purchased by their federation members.
SWAN Games Company was founded in April 2000 and is headquartered in Whitehall, Pennsylvania. The company's mission is to create
the best online club for playing bridge on the Internet. For more information, visit the SWAN Games Company BridgeLynx website at http://www.swangames.com/bridgelynx, or contact Laila Leonhardt by email at
